Tehran-Shiraz-Yazd-Isfahan-Kashan Itinerary
11 Days & 10 Nights
Day 1(March 18th-Tehran):
Arrival at Imam Khomeini Airport, You will be met and transferred to hotel. Visit Golestan Palace which is among a set of Qajari & early Pahlawi royal palaces, located in a garden complex at center of Tehran. Free afternoon to explore the city. Overnight in Tehran.(Hotel/BB)
Day 2(March 19th – Shiraz):
Fly to Shiraz in the morning. Full day city tour of Shiraz. Visit Zand Complex including Karimkhan Citadel, Pars Museum, Vakil Traditional Bath, Vakil Mosque and traditional bazaar which are related to the Zand dynasty (1750–79), a dynasty that ruled in Persia from Shiraz. In the evening visit Nasīr al-Mulk Mosque (pink mosque) which has been built during Qajar era. Afterward visit Hafez mausoleums, one of the greatest Iranian poets in Shiraz. Day 3(March 20th– Shiraz-Persepolic):
After breakfast driving toward Persepolis, one of the famous heritages in Iran which has been registered in UNESCO list, Persepolis is one of the most impressive sights surviving from antiquity back in to the 2500 years ago. After Persepolis, visit Naqsh-e Rostam which is a burial place of four Achaemenid sovereigns .Then driving back to the Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.(Hotel/BB)
Day 4(March 21st -Yazd):
In the morning head to Yazd by public bus. Free evening in Yazd to explore the city. Overnight in Yazd. (Traditional Hotel/BB)
Day 5(March 22nd– Yazd):
Full day city tour of Yazd, visiting highlights of Yazd such as Congregational Mosque, Zoroastrian old Fire Temple which was founded with the financial helps of Yazdi and Indian-based Zoroastrians, the fire of Varahram is burning in a brass cup in a special chamber, and the tallest Wind Tower of the world in Dolat Abaad Garden, a residence of Persian regent Karim Khan Zand, was built about 1750 and consists of a small pavilion set amid quiet gardens.
Amir Chakhmagh Complex, including a spacious square ringed by a water well and an impressive mosque and have a shopping over there. Water Museum, For the lowdown on qanats, head for the impressive Yazd Water Museum , located in a restored mansion that happens to have a qanat or two underneath. In the evening visit Saheb A Zaman Club Zurkhaneh Which is worth seeing both for its Iranian brand of body building and an amazing structure. Overnight in Yazd.(Traditional Hotel/BB)
Day 6(March 23rd -Isfahan):
After breakfast head toward Isfahan by public bus. In the evening, visit historical bridges of Esfahan such as Si-o-Se Pole (33 bridges) and Khajoo are two of the eleven bridges of Esfahan. Si o Se Pol means, 33 Bridge, it is the place that almost every visitors of Isfahan had seen , or walked over it, this Historical Bridge was built in about 1600 and can show you best example of Safavid Bridge Design. Day 7 (March 24th-Isfahan):
Full day city tour of Isfahan including, Naghsh-e Jahaan Square, one of UNESCO‘s World Heritage Sites. The square is surrounded by buildings from the Safavid era (1501-1739). Such as Imaam and Sheikh Lotfo-Al-Lah Mosques are two of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid Iranian architecture , Ali Qapu and traditional Bazaar. In the afternoon visit Vank Cathedral which was one of the first churches to be established in the city of Esfahan in Jolfs District by Armenian deportees settled by Shah Abbas the first. Day 8 (March 25th – Isfahan):
Free day to explore the city. In the evening take part in to the cooking class with locals in Isfahan and learn how to cook an Iranian food. Overnight in Isfahan. (Hotel BB/Dinner included)
Day 9(March 26th – Kashan):
After breakfast head toward Kashan by public bus.Visit Kashan, an ancient city in the Isfahan province of Iran, runs along the edge of the central deserts of Iran. Visit Fin Garden, in this beautiful garden, a well-liked Iranian politician (Chancellor) of 19th century was ordered to be murdered by the king. Also, the cool and shady area of this garden in this dry and hot climate provides such a pleasant ambiance. Visit Historical Houses of Kashan, such as Boroujerdi ha and Tabatabaie ha houses, are some of the beautiful examples of 19th century houses of merchants in Iran. Then visit Hammam-e Sultan Mir Ahmad. This 500 years old traditional bath is a superb example of an Iranian bathhouse and from its roof you will have a nice panorama of the town. Day 10(March 27th -Tehran):
In the morning head to Tehran by public bus. Free afternoon in Tehran to explore the city. Overnight in Tehran.(Hotel/BB)
Day 11 (March 28th):
End of the tour with hotel check out and transfer to the Imam Khomeini Airport.
