Tehran-Shiraz-Isfahan Itinerary

9Days & 8 Nights

Day 1(Tehran):

Arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. After rest visit Golestan Complex, one of the oldest historic monuments in Tehran and world heritage site. Golestan Palace belongs to a group of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud-thatched walls of Tehran’s Historic Arg (citadel). It is a masterpiece of beautiful garden and buildings consist of collection of Iranian crafts and European presents from 18th and 19th centuries. After lunch get back to the hotel. In the evening have meeting with the manager of some of the trade companies in Tehran. Have dinner and back to the hotel. Overnight in Tehran. (Hotel/FB)

Day 2(Tehran):

After breakfast visit Industrial zone near Tehran. More than half of Iran’s industry is based in Tehran. Industries included the manufacturing of automobiles, electronics and electrical equipment, military weaponry, textiles, sugar, cement, and chemical products. It is also a leading center for the sale of carpets and furniture. Visit some of the factories such as food, textile, metal industries and electronic. Have meeting with the manager of the factories. Have lunch and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon head to the north of Tehran and have dinner in Darband. Overnight in Tehran.(Hotel/FB)

Day 3(Shiraz):

In the morning fly to Shiraz. Visit Zand Complex including the citadel, museum, historical bath, mosque and historical bazaar. This is a fortress consisting of museums and palaces located in the central city of Shiraz and it was built during  Zand dynasty. Karim Kahn Zand proclaimed Shiraz as his capital in 1762 and the city prospered under his rule. After lunch get back to the hotel. In the evening have meeting with the managers of some of the trade companies in Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz. (Hotel/FB)

Day 4(Shiraz):

In the morning head to Shiraz Industrial Town. Shiraz is the economic center of southern Iran. Many of export crops passed through Shiraz on their way to the Persian Gulf. Iranian long-distance merchants from Fars developed marketing networks for these commodities, establishing trading houses in Bombay, Calcutta, Port Said, Istanbul and even Hong Kong. Shiraz’s economic base is in its provincial products, which include grapes, citrus fruits, cotton and rice. Industries such as cement production, sugar, fertilizers, textile products, wood products, metalwork and rugs dominate. Shirāz also has a major oil refinery and is also a major center for Iran’s electronic industries. 53% of Iran’s electronic investment has been centered in Shiraz.  Agriculture has always been a major part of the economy in and around Shiraz. This is partially due to a relative abundance of water compared to the surrounding deserts. Shirāz is famous for its carpet production and flowers as well. Shiraz is also an Iranian center for IT, communication, electronic industry and transportation. Have meeting with the head manager of some of the companies in industrial town. After lunch get back to the hotel. In the evening visit Hafez Mausoleum. Hafez was one of the greatest poets in Iran. Have dinner in Shapouri Historical House. Overnight in Shiraz. (Hotel/FB)

Day 5(Shiraz-Persepolis):

In the morning head to Persepolis, one of the most impressive sights surviving from antiquity back in to the 2500 years ago. After lunch visit Naqsh-e Rostam which is the site of limestone rock face inscriptions and rock-cut bas-reliefs that date to the early Sassanid era and a burial place of four Achaemenid sovereigns. Drive back to Shiraz. Have dinner in Bagh-e Raz restaurant. Overnight in Shiraz. (Hote/FB)

Day 6(Isfahan):

In the morning drive to Isfahan. In the evening visit historical bridges of Isfahan such as Si-o-Se Pole (33 bridges), and Khajoo are two of the eleven bridges of Isfahan. Si o Se Pol means, 33 Bridge, it is the place that almost every visitors of Isfahan had seen or walked over it, this Historical Bridge was built in about 1600 and can show you best example of Safavid Bridge Design. Have dinner and then drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Isfahan. (Hotel/FB)

Day 7(Isfahan):

In the morning visit Naghsh-e Jahaan Square [Imam Square/MeydanEmam], one of UNESCO‘s World Heritage Sites. The square is surrounded by buildings from the Safavid era (1501-1739). Such as Imam and Sheikh Lotfo-Al-Lah Mosques are two of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid Iranian architecture, Ali Qapu and traditional Bazaar. Have dinner in square and then visit ChehelSotoon (40 Pillars) palace, a pavilion in the middle of a park at the far end of a long pool. Then visit Vank Cathedral [Kelisa-ye Vank] which was one of the first churches to be established in the city of Esfahan in Jolfa District by Armenian deportees settled by Shah Abbas the first. In the evening have meeting with the manager of some of the trade companies in Isfahan. Have dinner in Abbasi Hotel. Today Isfahan, the third largest city in Iran, produces fine carpets, textiles, steel, handicrafts, specific sweet and traditional delicious foods. Isfahan also has nuclear experimental reactors as well as facilities for producing nuclear fuel (UCF). Isfahan has one of the largest steel-producing facilities in the entire region, as well as facilities for producing special alloys. Over 2000 companies work in the area using Isfahan’s economic, cultural, and social potentials. Isfahan contains a major oil refinery and a large airforce base. HESA, Iran’s most advanced aircraft manufacturing plant (where the IR.AN-140 aircraft is made), is located nearby. Overnight in Isfahan. (Hotel/FB)

Day 8(Kashan-Tehran):

After breakfast drive to Tehran. Visit Kashan en route. Visit Fin Garden in Kashan. The garden is one of the historical Persian Gardens. It contains Kashan’s Fin Bath, where Amir Kabir, the Qajarid chancellor who was murdered by an assassin sent by King Naserredin Shah in 1852. Fin Garden is the oldest extant garden in Iran. Then visit some of the historical houses of Kashan such as Tabatabayies and Broujerdies Houses. Have lunch in Kashan and then drive toward Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.(Hotel/FB)

Day 9:

End of the tour and transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport.
